Yeah you got to savour these moments Fez.

I once managed to make an oil change on the Ducati last a visit from the MIL, then the SIL and her evil horde, then the BIL and his. Jeanette was getting suspicious in the end but I blamed Italian engineering and got away with it.

I might just top that Fez. Under and hour to fit shorty levers, then another hour or so removing the clutch, checking everything, re fitting, removing, re checking. Could I work out why the engine kept cutting out when I put it in gear? In the end I phoned the head mechanic at the local dealer who said just five crushing words "Is the side stand down". Bollocks !

Well I actualy studied as a car mechanic before my big accident, unfortunately I lost quite a bit of memory! Also more of the problem is I lost alot of confidence in my skills and struggle to take on some jobs my self.
Thank god Arthur isn't too far away :D

Pmsl my mate called the AA to loomies (our local biker cafe) because his Ducati did the exactly the thing so embarrassing he was as red as the bike.
Not his fault really he had only owned the bike for just over 3 years!
