Si: Not sure if he puts gel insert in the seat or not. But I know it is a far sight comfier wether it be a gel insert or foam. The blackbird isn't exactly what you'd call uncomfortable in the first place, but when I had this done it was bliss. I couldn't comment on the Honda gel seat Giv as I've never felt 1 to compare it to, but I will be getting mine done soon. Though the SP needs it first as that really is a plank of wood you sit on. Sinewave. I'll be popping up to see him soon to get my seat done (in the next month), so if you ain't in too much of a rush to get it done, I'll take some pics of some of his work while I'm up there and get more information from him regarding what he puts in them and what kind of designs and materials he can use.

OK, got a price offf Jimmy which is very reasonable to recover both riders & pillion seats and re-pad in comfort foam. I quite fancy having the pillion seat re-covered in the same Royal Blue used in the 2012 HRC colour scheme, bit like Kawasaki do with their green pillion seats on the ZX10R's! Does anyone happen to know what RAL Colour this is per chance? I've emailed Honda UK but I'm not holding my breath! If anyone's got a 2012 HRC and could access a RAL chart (which are available free from most decorating centers) to hold up against their Bikes stickers and make a decision that would be much appreciated as another option failing a reply from Honda.
I am also very interested in this. I have a gel seat on my Busa and would say it is 50% more comfy than stock. Think it's time to ping him an email. I have the 2010 HRC but think I will stick with the black seat. Wonder how much just for the riders seat??
I had my Fireblade 954 riders seat done, left the pillion as it is and just had mine with the added gel and then recovered it in basketweave design, no piping just trying to get it looking as stock as possible but with a decent amount of comfort, it is a lot better and a nice job for the price paid.
