    Hi guys,

Will a taiil tidy from an 04 fit on an 07? i notice on their website they are different model numbers and there is a HUGE price difference (£34-£60)?

I know the R&G ones need some extra side bits for the 06/07 models but can anyone explain for me?

    Thanks! James.

I think only the shape of the exhaust changed slightly with the 06-07

Im sure someone will confirm the compatibility for sure, but the RR6/7 has a polished end can instead of the plastic tail pipe cover on the RR4/5. My reckoning is that this is where they differ as the R&G side bits are to cover the cack looking tail part of the RR4/5 can.

It's got an Akra can on the back rather than the big standard one and i'll remove all heat shields if that helps? Muffking - the side bits are for the RR6/7, maybe the can is bigger? God knows! Hopefully someone will be able to confirm, lol!

Hmmm... you may be right! If you look at thr R&G site and click on 'fitting details' it opens a PDF which shows the required 'spacers/exhaust covers' as they put it on page 2... can anyone explain their instructions and what they mean or what the side panels do? Lol!

I think the difference, is the side exhaust shield bits on the standard 4 and 5
