Will be buying some Gortex Bike Boots in the next couple of weeks and would like to go prepared for trying on diff boots by already having some decent socks bought and on me feet when I arrive, so fitment will be 'as is' when riding.

What does the panel recommend and linky links would be nice too!

    Ta muchly! :D

(Oh, I have big Trotters, if that makes a diff, size 11.5 in shoes so I spose I'll be a twelve with decent socks on?)

I wear alpinestars tech racing socks with my alpinestar boots and they are sooooo comfy, not the cheapest at £20 a pair but well worth it In my opinion

I'm a fan of Bridgedale knee length summit socks and they do them for lads with big hooves like us.

I wear some cheap jobbies from TK Maxx as I believe you can't really tell the difference when riding the bike and my money's better spent on fuel!

Just plain sports socks for me, with my goretex TCX boots, ridden through summer and winter. Cool feet in the summer, dry in the winter and never really got cold.

    These look good value!
    PROBIKER CoolMax Rider Socks

Don't need winter sox as I have hot feet and aint planning going out in the rain if I can help it never mind when it's cold! :p

I'm leaning strongly towards the TCX Gortex Sport Boots TBH

Your toes don't warm up properly in them either.

Just wanted to add that I bought a pair of TCX Goretex boots around october time, they are really bloody good. a touch stiff at first as they have heavy duty ankle supports.
But once you wear em in they are great boots, ill be checking out their other gear in future.

Maybe.... Rather than just steam in with your first post you would like to introduce yourself or your company properly?

It's a spammer. If you see the other posts it is someone trading using a mobile number and a gmail account so is probably a scammer as well.

I bought Alpinestars Summer Touring socks, which are good. BUT, I found that my skiing socks (similiar price £20-25) are much better quality/fit and overall are great for motorbike touring ;)
