Teaser of future mods and intro to the forum + regular updates First off I want to say hi to everyone here... and thank all the forum members and moderators who help put this forum together day in day out. I live in Portugal and as you can guess I ride all year round... I know I know lucky me... I´ve been away from the Honda world for a while dwelling in the dark side... but now after almost 7 years I´m back this time a Black 2008 CBR1000RR, with 16000km I bought a few weeks ago in what I like to think are mind conditions. Just to let you know where I´m coming from these last few years I´ve been mounting a GSXR750 and an Aprilia RSVR Factory... both very competent bikes but I needed a change... I was looking for a R1 with the flat plane crank or a Honda Fireblade... in the end the better deal and the total package of the Honda got the win... So now here I am... Since I took delivery of the bike I havn´t even rode it... she went straight into a familiar shop to have some things done to it right away cause I need something especial after my Ape... The intended purpose of this bike is mainly fast Street and the very occasional Track Day... as I don´t have much time to ride I dedicate myself more to the building project then to actually riding it... For now I only have pictures of my former bikes and a teaser of some rolling gear that, as I write this should already be mounted. I can tell you the stuff that is already in the shop for assimilation... Like the Borg say... resistance is futile... - Brembo Master Cylinder RCS 19 and matching Brembo Clutch lever - Goodridge Brake lines - Carbon Lorraine Pads - Brembo Race Brake Discs - Custom made Bar Ends - R6 Throttle mod with Domino grips - Pair and flapper mod - BMC Race filter - Arrow GP2 exhaust - DID Gold chain 530 - Stock gearing for now as I evaluate the bike in the coming months - Rexpeed passenger pegs bracket - Lightech Chain adjuster, mirror block off plates and Swing arm spools - Some Evotech nuts and bolts for rear axle and triple tree - Evotech license plate holder - Michelin Power One 120/70 and 190/55 - ??? look further down for wheels Still waiting for: - FP Racing relocator bracket for rear caliper - Rear seat cowl from China... will see how that goes... - Zero Gravity Corsa windshield Still to come a never ending list of mods, with a whole lot missing... stuff that I don´t even know I want... lol... you know how it is with the mod bug and shopping spree...: - Lightech rearsets - HM Quickshifter - Ohlins rear shock and front suspension revalve... I´m 6ft and wheigh 95-100kg fully equipped... depending on time of year... - Ohlins steering damper if I feel hindered by the action of the stock damper - HRC ECU and perhaps the power up kit...only if I loose my mind and just for giggles... cause I think any 1000cc bike nowadys has more then enough power... especially coming from a v-twin under powered Ape... lol - Brembo Calipers... maybe - and maybe risk some new Chinese fairings from Neverland or Auctmarts... if I don´t have anything better to spend the money on... We don't have a porn section as such ee8 but if we did, your bikes would fit right in. Fantastic second introduction. Welcome again.
I'm not much of a photographer but I will make a few detailed shots of the stuff that is already mounted later in the day when I will go for my regular visit to my bike... So stay tuned for more updates later in the evening.

Wow you have only been on the forum a few hours and already i hate you ( in a good way obviously). I am currently saving up to trick out my next blade with many of the parts listed above. i am really looking forward to see how your bike developes. P.S that is how your rr-4 could look rich if you paint the wheels in the correct colour
Yes welcome from a rainy Cheshire .Love the photos and the blade looks mint and that's why White wheels (and boots)rule. Are bikes over there full power models ?

Welcome to the forum. I can get the cheap flights from uk then and we can all stay at your place, as I work for a low cost airline !! Just about to order Repsol cbr1000 , will keep ky k2 1000 though for the wet English weather .
