I fancy a new set of wheels, would love a nice light weight set but can't afford new prices and they very rarely come up second hand!
So.... What fits my RR5 I have read various write ups like 929 and 954 fit straight on but I'm not sure about that?
Sp wheels if you change front barings?
    Are sp1/2 wheels the same?
Can anyone comfirm if any if this is true.

And is there any other wheel that will fit and look good?

    Thanks in advance
    Martin

I wouldn't bother with SP1/2 wheels mate as they are heavier than the blade wheels. Some SP owners change over to fireblade wheels as an upgrade.

Is our Dan not selling his set? I thought I read he was thinking about it so he can change to BST.
    I may be wrong though.

I have trauled the net and various forums UK & US and from what Ive found is that SP1 & SP2 wheels will fit using your disks but changing the front bearings and your RR5 spacers. 929 & 954 wheels will fit again hearing changing the front bearings etc but RR8 onwards will not unless you spend a fortune machining and weakening the wheel. I think CBR600RR wheels will fit also but don't see any point in that.
The SP2 wheels are slightly heavier but to the average road rider is not going to make much difference at all. I have done quite a few wheel mods on various bikes and to be honest unless they are carbon wheels or race magnessium is the only time you'll notice a big difference. Hope this helps. This info is not gospel but I'm sure someone will correct me if they know different.

2013 wheels will fit. anything 2008 onwards will with.......

Rear Goes Straight in, Front requires 04-07 discs and 2mm spacers between each disc and mounting face.
