Which date is it, which route you take down / back / where do you stay at the GP

I've been asked to go to Mugello - 2 groups going , 1 lot taking 2 weeks on bikes via alps with race middle weekend, then other lot flying but taking a week away as flights limited.

I would love to ride to Cataluyna over the Pyrenees - may look into Motorail option to do the dull part there / and / or back. Have good friends near Andorra I can call in on (well we've stayed in their town for 10 years on the go now)

 

leave plymouth 9th june 400 miles to barcelona 1 week there riding all about loads to do and see then up the piranesse mountins to andorra vat and tax free then two days back to sanander arrive back 19th june ferry 315 moto gp ticket 120 then fuel and spends alllllllllllllllllllllll gooooooooooooooood

Have to say it took us years to learn how to spell it - I can suggest a few top roads near Andorra, but you will prob. know them - Col de tosses from Ripoli for one heading to Andorra.

Not bad price for both ferries that - good trip by sounds of it - you planning to camp or hotels at circuit?

Hey guys I'll be going to this one , got a deal from Groupon, £125 each (based on 2 people going) got us 3 day tickets to the MotoGP & 2 nights B&B in either a 3 or 4 star hotel. It's not going to be a long trip thou, Portsmouth to Santander a couple of days before GP & then back via Santander on the Tuesday .

 

If staying in Barcelona, it's a doddle getting to the circuit as there's a frequent train service taking ~20 mins. Means you can get sloshed at the GP as not having to ride.

 

Groupon ?? tell me more and is this available to anyone ?

I haven't signed up to groupon but my misses had and she got sent an e-mail about this offer ,it was only valid for a couple of weeks, but it did come on up again . Thou it was £135 this time. Just sign up to their news letter & maybe the offer may be posted again.

So for £125 (based on to going) the deal we got was a 3 day pass to the MotoGP a 3 or 4 star hotel which inc B&B. hotel could be: Hotel Novotel,Sant Joan Despi, Husa Via, Hesperia Sant Just or a few more. All hotels are located in Barcelona .

i am going to the gp steying two weeks on a camp site takeing bikes down on a trailer and i have a caravan in storage nere the campsite to use

let me know as three of us stopping somewhere by lorrett de mar or malgret de mar so if its close by we could meet up i was there last year and know some amazing bike roads .....
