Right, it's that time of year I generally do something to my bikes, last year the RC8 got the treatment.....this year it's the blades turn. Im Looking to store the mint stock fairings and replace them with some road/race set, whilst I know they're gonna be slightly worse than stock I don't really mind if it means I can rock a new colour scheme and not cry every time I scuff it or scratch it during track days etc. So the paint work, what to go for? Well, initially it was gonna be castrol but then I thought TT legends....... Gotta be honest though, I prefer a race rep style that's black n White mainly. So anybody have any ideas? I'm kinda hoping stoner does a special at Philip island I like, but can't count on it. So far to buy off the shelf it's only RDP's playboy or Elias 'elf' scheme in black n grey that's available which suits my brief, I actually like the playboy but am happy to get new suggestions on a different scheme to send in so anybody got some pictures or design skills they wanna bring to the pot? The more ideas the better...no rush, we've got a few weeks yet
Have you looked to see what the likes of actumart and other chinese suppliers on ebay have to offer for your bike?

It's looking like a few of our bikes could be wearing new liveries in the near future, the reason I found the forum was searching for info on the rothmans kits so hondo's bike brought me here!
I think my winter upgrades are gonna be a fairing set to save the OEM's for when i trade it in.. Im in the same boat as most thou , Aint got a clue what to get
Yeh I've been looking at the black n White pramac, I'd like to see how I can incorporate maybe some Yoshi logos etc in to A different design or something. Maybe I could start a design competition, the winning design gets a box of Curley wurleys and a 6 packet bag of monster munch pickled onion. A new thread
I have to say being from Cornwall i am a sucker for a pasty or two, i have thought about having trackday fairings in the HM Plant style however mine would have this on the fairings instead of HM Plant I reckon it would look awesome lol and unique................
As would a photo of Dawn French eating one lol. I see you mention the trade in aspect as one reason to store the stock fairings .As a regular bike buying mug punter i always send my bikes in next to mint and to be honest it seems to be a waste of time ie the buggers will give you the book price stone chipped or not..Having said that now the tiddly winks are pushing out some good repo's why not and we will look forward to your choice.

The all black tank makes it look a bit bulky, i prefer how the black tank infills make the tank cover stand out and look slimmer/taller, gives the bike a really agressive stance. Oh, and its TT legends all the way for me, but if its white/black you like then its far too red/white/blue for you!!!
