Ok so these have just gone to the top of my wish list for next winter. The only thing i dont love about them is why have they have offset the holes they have drilled. What do you lot think of them and if anybody can post details of oem and any aftermarket wheel weights i would be very greatful Dymag | Performance Motorcycle Wheels
Think they look ace No idea on offset ? Maybe to keep strength it the aluminium in the correct place ? Or Just to be different Either way looks great, I guess you don't want them in white Fez
Word of warning, in 2014 all major race series switch to 17" wheels and the price of lightweight 17's will skyrocket accordingly. so if you want some, buy them this year
I was reading a review comparing all the different brands will see if I can find the link. They had rated the BST carbon fiber wheels as the lightest & best but they're not cheap!
Without sounding negative, why? you have enough to learn at new circuits etc without having to struggle setting up suspension etc. Leave your standard stuff in for a year, learn to ride to the limits of the bike first then get suspension etc. Honestly mate, you will end up tying yourself in knots and getting nowhere fast
They look very nice. If the price is going to go up due to the race rule changes then I am even more glad my new black shiny Marchesini wheels arrived on Tuesday they are so pretty. Pics will be posted when they are put on in March.
i found this info on the new dymag up7x UP7X Weight (2011 Kawasaki ZX 10R Ninja sample) Front - 3.36kg (7.40lbs) Rear - 5.62kg (12.38lbs) ----- Weights with valves, sprocket, bearings, spacers. Everything but tires and brake rotors.. If this is correct then it gives them a total weight of 19.78lbs, thats just 0.10lbs heavier than the dymag carbon wheels and they are by far the lightest aluminium wheels out of that list, very impressive
