Got my 09 repsol delivered yesterday and i thought the weather would keep it parked up for a while yet. Today the roads are dry but its windy so thought i would just go out on it for 10 minutes just to give it a run. 2 hours later and i arrive back home ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT - F8CK8NG BONKERS. Even better than i remember from 5 years ago when i had my last blade. Come on warmer weather.
lucky git, sounds like you had fun. Not been on mine since Sept with a Op I had and crap weather plus having it stripped down also, I can't wait to get it finished and on the road again
Lucky lucky boy! been sunny, dry but a bit windy today here and work got in the way of fun ...just for a change
Good on yer mate, I've been waiting since boxing day to get out on mine. When its fine I'm always working and weekends are always bloody miserable. It's only a few weeks before spring is upon us.
Here was/is the weather. Pissing down this afternoon, wash the salt away...yes! Tomorrow will be nice but fresh, Sunday pissing down and next week fekin freezing again and salt laden roads. How many will be on tomorrow telling stories of their "cheeky blasts"?
Did you park up on the pavement at the cafe by the merry-go-round? Normally up there myself but usually with the kids standing around looking at other peoples bikes while the kids are on the rides when I should be out on my own. I'll give yer a shout if I see you over there.
Yes mate but never stopped well went the suppermarket to use toilet, the roads are nice going the back way into southport then lanes way on wayback
I know EXACTLY how you feel lol. Had my first proper ride out on mine today and I was blown away, the acceleration is just epic, coming from a 600rr its a breath of fresh air not having to be revving the f*in arse off it to go anywhere, god bless torque.. I struggled keeping the front end down though when giving it big gas in 2nd but hey ho its all in the fun of having a litre sportsbike and weighing 10 stone lol. Handling wise it doesn't feel much different to the 600, theres a little more weight in the steering when turning in but apart from that just point and twist!! big smiles, bring on the summer
are they worth getting? my M4 gp is in the post but it has the S bend mid pipe so im hopin i won get the lopey idle and low end losses?
def worth fitting IMHO the difference is great, I thought the blade was very underpowered without one.
