    I know, I'm starting early.
    Any recommendations for European cover,
Sorry I didn't transfer the links that folks kindly put on my first thread, so if anyone would like to contribute again please?

Gary, get a quote from your insurer first, sometimes it can work out cheaper.

Ok, just had a look at rac, £83 not bad, it's the small print you have to watch though, isn't it.

I'll ping MCE an email, see what they come up with. :)

This is the Col d'Aubisque in the Pyrennes on the French side. Single track road with awesome views and not much to stop you going over the edge!

Couldn't do it. I doubt I could walk that road without velcroing myself to the inside wall.

Those are fully grown trees at the bottom Ken, just to give you some idea of the drop! Lots of roads like this, sometimes you can't get on because the photo opportunities are never ending.

It's a freaky thing dude but if I was riding that I'd have to force myself to steer away from the edge. It's like gravity.

If I had to die and had the choice of death, what better way to go than over the edge whilst riding my bike
I've already told my partner I want my ashes taking to the Pyrenees when I die. I know it sounds a bit morbid but what a great resting place!

You have to be a bit careful about dramatic locations for disposal of remains Steve. Jeanette's uncle wanted us to cast his ashes from the top of a Tor on Dartmoor. Bloody windy up there it was, and a lot of us stood close together. Not so romantic when your last resting place is a dry cleaners in Tavistock.

Jimbo, you'd be amazed what vertigo does to your perception of gravity. That's why we had to get rid of all our thick carpets.
