bought 08 blade the bike is clean and tidy but i am not sure if i have a steering issue.when you ride the bike it all seems good but when you come to roundabouts or slower tight corners you have to press against the bar hard,to the extent that it aches your arms.i know it could be alot of things but just thought i would pick some brains first.

could be the rear sag too soft or/and the front too hard which
would make the bike not want to corner as quick as it should.
have you checked it with the tape measure ?

oh and if you came from a fast turning bike to a blade it does feel like a slow
    turning lump of a bike.

not checked anything yet,the handle bars turn in very hard and i have to counter steer hard to keep the bike from pulling me into the kerb.

Sounds about right with the suspension being the problem.

Either that or a soft front tyre ?

Check the tyres first as that's the easy one. .It may be that someone has messed with all the preload and all settings with good intentions but made a balls of it .Try to return all twiddly knobs to standard .

I came from an 848, ran wide on the slow sharp corners a good
few times my first few times out, wasnt used to having to take
them slower than I was used to.
