We have had many bullies but wife doesn't want anymore, I would have another tomorrow. Here's a few starting back in 1979.
I saw a thing in the new Ricky Gervais sitcom the other night that made me smile. In it he plays a vulnerable person living in a care home, given to the odd insightful statement. He said: "Dogs are the most enthusiastic animals on the planet. Whatever you suggest to a dog, it thinks it's the best thing ever."
I have two greyhounds Colin and Judy. Both are ex racers and they really are idle and so easy to look after.
I love a cheeky little running dog. Though they needn't be cheeky. Nor indeed little. It makes sense to me!
Sad news ....Just wanted to say goodbye to Charlie my jack Russell It's been a couple of weeks now since we had to have him put to sleep and I still keep on shouting him and throwing treats on the floor, the kids are lost without him and miss him like crazy. It's amazing how a dog can be your best friend and give you so much love unconditionally, glad he could be part of our lives and he will be sadly missed.
I'm really, really sorry to hear that Jamie and agree with every word you've said. Brought a lump to my throat reading them and seeing your images. My heart goes out to you and your family. So long Charlie.
Know the feeling all to well.when my last dog died it was ten years before we Could get another as it was such a big loss the first time we couldn't think of Going through that all again.
Sorry to hear that mate.we had to put our Border Collie down Tess last summer she had a tumour so now Twix wears her collar, she had a good life an was well looked after.....
Since he was a kitten Bert has loved chasing the spot of the laser pointer. Even now, in his dotage he has a ritual of when I come in the door at night of sitting on the back of the armchair and staring at the ceiling, expecting the cursed dot to appear at the same time I do. I recently bought a new 30mw laser which is considerably more powerful than the old one. Consequently, he can see the actual beam of this one in a low lit room, as well as the spot so he now has taken to snapping at the dust sparkles with his mouth and trying to grab the beam in his paws. Funny, up until now I always thought it was a bit of fun, now he looks decidedly pathetic in his attempts and I don't feel so good about doing it. The trouble is, as soon as I open the door tonight, he'll jump up on the chair, stand to attention and stare out the living room ceiling. Twat.
