Hi Dudes taking a well earned rest near to Poole Dorset. Is there any current info on the bike night i am going down starting 10th September so hoping i can get my fill whilst there (Not on my bike) just drawing in the fumes. Thanks Mike.
on a tuesday night they close the roads except for bikes from around five on poole quay but bikes tend to trickle in from early afternoon. i,m not local to there but was there in april and oldest brother lives in southampton and go,s down there now and again. well worth a visit.
If youre on a bike remember your quid!! free for passing padestrians. It is really busy from 6pm onwards unless the weather is shite, then you just get a few turn up. You can get some nice food down there too, I reccoment the bbq outide the hotel. Avoid the food booths with like the plauge. overpriced cardboard trash.
I am now in POLAND er i mean Poole going to the bike night tomoz if it's still on an not pissing down.
Yup thanks i meant Tuesdays just got back from Bournemouth and took a good sand blasting due to high winds.
Welcome to Poole :yo: I may go Tuesday evening if the weather is ok, finishes the end of September so not many left. If your in the car go in the multi story at the quay. After 6pm, I think, is only £1.20 for the night and you'll be directly on the quay. Some good restaurants too if you dont fancy the traditional fish and chips :hungry:
Phanx Caz may see you there. ps the photo on Biker chic wanted is not really me thats my twin i have a centre parting so look out for me.
Did the Poole bike night last night and it was quite a big show. They closed the sea front and some big old Porkers did the Marshalling .Not many blades out but a good relaxing night in the sun shine .Plus note the cops don't seem to be giving it the big i am which was nice!. I took a couple of shots so will post next week.
I was going to go but got held up at home. By the time i was free it was half 7 so was no point as it was starting to get dark.
Haven't got a clue what you two are talking about. It was a joke. I'm a bloke, I've never used cologne or after shave in my life. I had a beard for 33 years. The best I ever smell of is Swafega and Super Unleaded.
