Right , today I removed the hm quickshifter and all the gubbins that come with it , from my gsxr1000k2 , in anticipation of the arrival of my new 2013 1000rr this week . I will fit the hm and was wondering does anyone have any photos of how they routed the wiring which runs away from the end of the spark plug run, to the control unit and the gear pressure switch, in particular where they attached the earth wire. Photos are good for me. I will be keeping the standard foot rest and gear selector, what size shift rod do I have to order from hm? Cheers in advance.
    :D

Shift rod is 150mm I have just fitted one to my 2012 loom off the coiltops I run left hand side and lay on rubber matting between air box and rocker over. I fixed the LCD to a black plastic part as you see on picture I removed tank so it's easier then I cable tied the loom to the original loom next to starter so I know it's our the way of tank being lifted up and down . Earth wire fix to 10mm starter bolt . Hope this helps ImageUploadedByTapatalk1360604780.627133.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1360604811.765780.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1360604864.410418.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1360604882.043478.jpg

Mines on 55-65 I didn't have a clue whether it was compression or extension setting so I just adjusted it until I pulled up on gear lever and "shift" flashed up . I might adjust settings but not tried it yet

I see that your shift is compression as per the little c in the LCD display, one less thing for me to work out! How do u find the shifter? Just wondering whether u have an end can fitted . R and g crash protectors ordered for my new beast with a r77 carbon fibre yoshimura slip on . Would be interested in your settings on the hm if you adjust them. Regards. Enjoy British weather:D
