Yep, I'm with Stimo on this one. It's bloody scary at first as it looks like there's sod all on it but it works well.

I hate chain lube, but I have some of that there Wurth stuff up on the shelf. I'll need to use it on the SP as I won't need a scottoiler on it for the amount of miles it will be doing.

What do you guys use for cleaning it off?

I did do a who's carrying what kind of post Steve.
Puncture repair kits chain lube etc. no point taking 20 of everything with us. I'll get Colin the fettle it a little bit when we get the actual numbers of runners and riders. And peeps could nominate themselves for what they are taking for the group.
Me, I'm taking the chain oil. :)

    Can't beat a bit of lube ;)

A few will need oil might be worth asking opie oils to send a shipment to one of the hotels.Maybe opie could sponsor the oil side especially if MCN are taking an interest.

Good idea sideways. I will PM Opie for a couple of cans. If will be my contribution to the forum, I won't however be looking for a freebie. Although free postage if he's reading this ;)
Business is business these days. I'd be more than happy just to add a mention for the supplier.

Edit. Pm sent to Opie oils re chain lube

An opine oils sticker on a bike or 2 when the pics get taken is I'm sure worth a tin or 2 of chain lube !!

    Wurth.

Need to re-apply after rain though.

On a trip we generally get a couple of tins between the group and do every bike each morning.

I was thinking along the lines of doing the bikes as we pull up for the night, all ready for the next day.

I will add before some other smart arse does though.

If Garyb is carrying the oil they may have to wait a while ;)
