Called my local dyno place today for a quote for a custom map, was quoted £160+vat.
    Is this good or bad?

£150 all in mate. That seems a bit expensive Martin….especially plus the dreaded, just under £200! I would shop around.

Think I got ripped off, £180 all in at PDQ in Taplow.

The map itself was quality though.

It should take about 3 hours as i said it was @60 squids an hour, I'd say anything less than 2.5h then the job is not thorough enough.
Nick @ PDQ is a bit of a perfectionist, didn't stop until my torque curve was billiard flat, - this was on my cb1000r but the results were awesome!

Nick was kind enough to talk me through the process and provide all the runs at different throttle positions so i could analyse them later
    check out that torque curve!

dont forget to ask for each of the runs, if you're a geek like me you'll find them very interesting comparing the before and after at different throttle positions

I had the PCV and O2 eliminators supplied and fitted with a custom map. Altogether turned out around 4 hours work that cost me £475 incl VAT

Think 170-175 would be more closer to the bhp from an 08 on bike
I would be expecting closer to 155-160 bhp
