Twats indeed, How someone can be using a mobile phone, pull out of a junction in front of a Motorcycle resulting in his death and then seems to have totally gotten away with it, really pisses me off I bet if it was the other way round they wouldn't fair so well? and that's how it should be for all twats that use mobiles while driving resulting in a death

The Twats are usually the CPS who make the ultimate decision whether to prosecute or not, and based on my experiences in a previous life, they (The CPS) will always go for the easy option which is usually to take no further action. The other problem is the fact that Specials who are nothing more than part time hobby bobbies are now allowed to drive Police vehicles without any formal training. Back in the day only those full time cops who had done and passed the 3 week standard driving course were allowed to drive. The son of a neighbours is a special and he waxes lyrical about the fact that he can drive a marked vehicle and yet he was only given a 20 minute assessment. So the Police along with the CPS have made a rod for their own back.
This is a very sad case, the woman was using her mobile on loudspeaker on her lap at the time of the accident. This must have contributed to her lack of concentration when pulling out of the junction into the path of the motorcyclist. At the very least it is due care and attention, my thoughts are with the motorcyclists family, I hope they pursue further legal advice on this case. It begs the question what do we have to do to be seen !
She lied about been on the phone...... They would put me in prison for just speeding... My heart goes out to this mans family they must feel so let down....

CPS had hand in the court result, they are both as bad as each other. A sodding disgrace. I do hope they (the bikers family) file a secondary law suit against her.
There will be undoubtedly a civil case which will have been commenced within days of the original crash. On the plus side, the burden of proof for a civil claim is completely different as it only has to be shown on the balance of probability that she caused the crash whereas in a prosecution it has to be proved beyond all reasonable doubt (which is what surprises that she was not convicted). This sort of behaviour from a Twat/Idiot/Slapper (call her what you will) grates with most hard working honest coppers and is why I am sometimes embarrassed to even admit that I am ex job. But back to the original point, there will be no problem proving liability against her, and it would not surprise me if the Force insurers have not already admitted laibaility given the overwhelming evidence. Apparently even the investigating officers tried to get the CPS to change their mind not to prosecute, they police wanted her convicted just as much as the rest of us.
The fact that she lied , ` i briefly took a call, sorry i was on the fone for the whole journey`. She also didn`t think that being on the fone was `relevant` at the time of questioning. And we have lying wankers like this upholding the law.
She's a cunt that's for sure. I'm a cop and I think the same! No matter what job you do there will always be useless lying wankers as were all human. The police wanted her done for this. It was the weak CPS and courts that did FOOK all again!

The most probable facts of this matter are as follows................ 1) She was on the phone and holding it to her ear. 2) She denied using the phone after the fatality as she knew the consequences 3) After it was pointed out to her that her initial denial would be proved a lie due to phone records she admitted it's use 4) After a quick consultation with her Solicitor or 'Friend' it was 'suggested' that saying the Phone was on 'loudspeaker and in her lap' is technically the same as using one hands-free and being as it's not possible to interagate a phone to see what 'state of play' it's use what at the time of the Mobile Carriers time stamped records are it would be her best defence. This is why I have a Blackvue HD Camera fitted behind my rear view mirror in the car so I have video evidence of what's occurred (in front of me anyway) I'll be looking at installing one on the new Blade as well in the near future. I bet the poor Biker saw the Bitch with Phone clamped to her ear as he flew threw the air to his death! If it was my family member who'd died I can assure you she'd come to significant harm within the year!
