Nope ,, Just wanted a colour i have not seen before and so it was down to blue or green . I figured the only time someone would see it is when the bike is in neutral so green will match the neutral light ... Fingers crossed it goes good
What a glorious sight! Damo, don't worry about getting mine out in double quick time, I'm in Cologne most of this week. Please don't forget to ship it to my work (Stockley Park) address. Vino / R Vines / Red only please
Shipped all today apart from givovers (pm me when you want it mate) You should all look out for an APC mailbag turning up tomorrow, it's a red,White n blue mailbag and has an A5 re enforced envelope inside wrapped in a little Hubble wrap. Enjoy ! Can't wait to fit mine, picked up an ecushion seat tonight too so well chuffed
Hi mate did you get the seat off eBay? Was watching one and then the geezer emailed to say he was keeping it now !
It's the comfort seat...not really bought for comfort, it's apparently much grippier and good for track so I've heard so thought why not
Well I just got it off a friend of a friend, told me he was selling his bike n stripping the bits and knew I'd missed a few on eBay, quick phone call later and hey presto
Hel Lines.... Brembo / Accasato front master cylinder... What else do you want...........fairnings etc
Yes i am very tempted by a master cylinder but it would have to be a good saving otherwise I'm waiting for the NEC show as i could have had some good bargains last year but i was getting ready to buy the blade so left it to this year Rich , have you asked your contact for best price if 10 buy ?
its very simple, there is a red diagnostic plug next to the battery under the seat. take off red cover connect the gipro, run the cable to your clocks, have the bike on a paddock stand. start your bike run through the gears 1 to 6 to learn your bike, and hey presto. there is a great thread with pics on the american site 1000rr.net.
Mine arrived today, very well packed and what a neat little unit, can't wait to get it on and running. Thanks very much Damo, good job! JD
