3 bikes Honda CBR1000rr 2012 Honda ST1300 2010 Triumph Thruxton 900 2012 ALL GARAGED 48 years old 9 years no claims, no points no accidents, never claimed, riding since i was 17, Live in Dalgety Bay Scotland, Renewal £718.00 fully comp It is up by about £200 since last year. Going to phone around, I was expecting it but goodness me what do you have to be to get a reasonable quote apart from being 90 I have had a qoute £200 more from Carol Nash and slightly cheaper from Bennets. Quite a bit in value am i expecting to much.
I have my bikes insured with Swindon on they're multi policy Honda Cbr1000rr 2010 Honda Blackbird Honda SP1 I'm around £700 for them all. 4 years no claims and 4 years riding. 31 years old.
Just had a quote from Bennets for my 08 blade, 5 points, 51 years old and 15+years no claims bonus..........£123.00 fully comp! Very wary of Bennets and wonder whether to go with MCE for just over £200. Any comments welcomed...........
Done a quick one with Swinton online and i think this is goingto be cheaper, I will give them a phone tomorrow, Thanks
Some of these quotes are really good..... but i live in the crime capital of the UK (Except London)...... Manchester, insuring anything around here is a painful task, we just have too many scum bags around these here parts.
Final Quote - MCE Covers 3 bikes, Full No Claims Protection, Full Legal Cover, RAC Cover, All bikes covered for pillion and commuting, and 15 months for the price of 12. £627.00. So Thats my winner this year, nearly a £100 cheaper than my first quote and 3 extra months and cover for pillion and commuting on all 3 bikes. Worst qoute I got was Carol Nash, nearly £900. Why with my clean full no claims history, 28 years with a full Motorcycle license, Never claimed, Aging Carcass must I go through this trolling pain every year.
Just got a quote from MCE, £250 fully comp. I've seen a few scare stories on here about MCE, but hey, for that price it's worth a try.
