I have heated Gerbing gloves. But I like the look of these as no wires through my jacket now!

Glad to hear they get your vote, shipmate. They're a lot cheaper than the Datatool ones too.

Mate of mine has had the R&G ones fitted to his bike.

They are OK but don't have the adjustability or the superior fitment of the Datatool or Oxford grips.

The Datatool set win it for me just because of the trick electronics which negate the use of a relay and also because you aint got to bodge on a controller to the handlebars as per the R&G & Oxford Hotgrips versions which however you mount it looks toss.

I shall be ordering the Datatool version.

I am sure I am about to order a set of these -

Got a set of R&G ones for £40 at the NEC for the R1 but these look very good indeed - I've used R&G ones through some horrific weather, in sleet / snow over the alps and just on those 'chilly days' we get in the UK Autumn / Spring but esp on a long sodden 'rain all day' ride with hundreds of miles to cover to get to hotel and a water getting down neck, in gloves / boots etc. and having warm hands the best thing.

And heading for the ferry home at 06:00 after a cold night in late September my mates without went mad when they realised I had warm hands as they had gone numb with cold

I ordered a set of the datatool heated grips on sunday morning from north west honda and they arrived today great service, just like it said in the right up only 2 wires. only down side i can see is they are a bit fatter but i,m thinking may be all heated grips are any way going to strip of the old grips when there on i will post a photo and let you now how well they work.

    Mine are on.

These are the first ones I have fitted so can't compare but the seem to work well enough. There is lots of spare cable & my first attempt had it coiled up near the clocks which looked untidy. In the end I fed the cables under the tank shelter & they fit nicely on top of the air box.

The function switch could be better quality but overall they seem ok.

The function switch is built into the left hand grip Colin; looks almost oem which is why I got them.
