A few bankers in there, Nutty. Ah the 400 4, a piece of jewelery and almost small enough to wear (still heavier than the 'Blade funnily enough) and the Z650. I used to lust after one of those more than I did Linda Lusardi, and that's saying something.

I was on the older side of my school's year intake, which made me, in some cases 6 months older than some of my mates. My two best buds bought Suzuki AP50's as soon as they were 16, Mummy made sure of that in both cases. I decided to rely on my pushbike until I was 17 and bought a knackered old Suzuki K10 for £40, stripped it completly to nuts and bolts, resprayed it (Black, of course), rebuilt it then proceeded to piss all over them on their uber 'peds. Only problem was, when it rained, something on the HT side of the ignition circuit would short out against my knee. Which sort of ruined the experience.

My CB200 came then, Snoopy. (long story), loved that bike. Passed my test on it then had it knicked from outside my front door while I was in bed with flu. JYA 219N if you ever see it around, I'd like it back.

Next came my CB550F1. Had it five days before I stuffed it. That developed a valve guide issue that took Bridge Garage, as it was then, quite some time and some parts from Japan to sort, but I didn't care because they kept letting me pick what ever I wanted from stock as loaners. I had a Guzzi Le Mans, a Jota (scary), an XS650, a ZX750, a Z650, an XS500 (crap), ah happy days.

I mothballed the 550 in '82 and took to cars, marriage, mortgage etc, and in 2008, mortgage all gone, I bought the 750ss off a customer who needed some cash, got back into the zone, had my little indescretion with the geography in March of this year then bought the bike I've been drooling over since 1992.

The engine of the K10 got put into a go kart for the guy I used to navigate for's son 20 years ago and it sitting waiting for his grandson to be able to reach the pedals.

I was a late starter, decided at 35 I wanted to have a go on a bike as a couple of mates had them. Booked to do my CBT, see if I liked it or not, then few weeks later went for the Direct Access, failed first time on U turn.. passed 2nd go and bought a Thundercat. Kept that for about 6 years, sold it and went without a bike for just over a year, then bought the K5 GSXR 750. Still got the gixer and had planned to add a blade to it but as for now thats on hold. And I'm only 22 now :)

Thank God tonyblade, I thought I was going to be the old guy on this thread Lol
I was born in 65, but i look young! At the age of 16 I took a Star Rider on my brand new "W" reg Suzuki TS50ER then onto a CB250N Superdream. I quit bikes when I bought my first house but at 22 I borrowed some ones Kawizaki AE80 and took my test. that was it till I was 41 when I had to buy this shiny Suzuki TL1000R yes I know I was mad? Next came my first Blade RR1 and on to my current RR5.

Love them all in different ways.

First bike an RRW Blade, red White, purple it was mint only 3 yes old when I got it I got then got hit head on n repaired it in baby blue and black which is what I wanted anyway.

Then 2 years later an 03 yellow and black 954 blade.

Then a Silver GSR 600 brand new cracking bike but borin.

Then K8 GSXR 1000 brand new I spent a fortune on it n wish I'd kept it it was mint like all my bikes lol.

Then I added a GSX750F to commute on.

I now Have an L0 GSXR 1000 also spent a fortune on it lol.

In last 12 months I have bought and sold a 2007 ZX6 loads of stuff on it

    An 04 ZX636 wreck

    2006 SV1000
