Not sure about the titanium rad guard over the black. Also don't know how long it would look fresh for.
Best play safe then in the absence of any first hand pix and go for Black! Just didn't want to slow me bike down that's all!
just had the same dilema mate, but went for the black in the end as thought like col and didnt no how long it would stay looking smart.
Speaking to our Barney today I was saying that I may get a rad guard but he says on the 2013 it was running very hot and he has removed it for the time being so as its mid winter and summer is on the way what do you lot think about this issue?
I don't think it's a problem for the 2013 bikes , but I tried to fit mine ( them fu* king zip ties ) But when it was on and on properly I found the bike was heating up very quickly , even at 60 / 70 mph it was still reaching temps of 100/104 , which I can not understand , so I got back home took guard off and its running right , heats up quickly in traffic but fan kicks in and soon I take off drops back down to 80's , just don't want the guard on if this is going to happen all the time .
That's why we need some comments Barney its freezing out there and at 70mph there is no way the temp should go that high .Did you take the wrapper off it Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmmm! Don't sound good that! Dilema is buy one and fettle it with a few bigger holes or risk it without one? Spose the obvious option is to get the Fender extender and bollox to the Rad guard?
Mine runs a bit hotter with the evotec rad guard, but not much.... Was ok in 37+ degrees last year too....
I think both mike... I was behind you today, and with the loose stones in the middle of the road, your rear tyre was flicking a fair few stones at my bike, no doubt a few where pinging the radiator...
A small bit of plastic front mudguard lower extension piece which I think Tweeks do and just screw together.
