All seems to be similar prices from people near me then so my quote must be ok, it's a well known very recommended place I got the quote from. Seems to be quite a bit cheaper the further north you go though
My bike with nothing done to it is 174 at rear wheel I think - need to dig out graph and scan it in It was more than John McGuiness's brand new 2012 Superstock bike that had everything done to it that was allowed (and expensive) which did please me no end
yep andy is a good lad, done a few of my bikes but thenh dropped off the scene for a bit(think he did another job for a while?) but apparently he's back at it. FW developments are good aswell (top lads and do a lot of BSB/TT engine work) in fact my bikes off there next week to get re-mapped. £150 is about the norm for full map
thts the thing,a s/stock bike is just that, stock, bar a few minor tweaks. 174 for a stock blade is very very good.
I called them the other day and was surprised how expensive it was. I assume you were happy with them as they are local to me. Bloke says it takes about 3 hrs all in ?
The map was awesome, I'd previously been running a downloaded map and an Autotune and the difference was amazing. The increase in low and mid range was the most noticeable, power wheelies just came on without trying! This was done in the summer last year and there was a waiting time of 2 weeks!. They are a quality outfit though, really know what they are doing. I've heard of cowboys pinching the wrong breathers causing the engine gaskets to blow. Rather pay a little more and get a pro who has been recommended to trash my pride and joy to an inch of it life! Big CC are also closeish, they charged about the same.
£90 SDC in Stevenage. Full Custom map on my 08 race bike. That was with ACU discount though. I think they usually charge about £120 ish. Highly recomend them to anyone in the area. They have a viewing window and also a second monitor out on the wall so you can see whats going on with the bike too.... revs, temps etc....
