A new acquaintance of mine has invited me to his "traditional" Burns night for next year after waxing lyrically to me how good it was this year. I'm loathe to say no right off the bat but am concerned about being introduced to the "chieftain o' the puddin' race" and have to smile sweetly while eating something Tesco wouldn't put in a beef lasagne.

What tips can you give me?

My name is Kenneth Gordon, I've got red hair, am tight as a ducks arse, punchy, live 15 miles from the Buckfast Winery...

I'll blend in like an F117 over downtown Baghdad.

Actually I am a half breed! My father was born in Hastings I also have family in Devon but the most hurtful comments are the ones about Tesco's Lasagna as I am part horse ;) ;) ;) :p

Lol. Why the long face mate.

Look forward to meeting you on the trip mate. If you fancy a run out prior to the tour give me a shout and we'll meet up for a blast and a bleather.

    Hi HRCTREV09,

I am in Dalgety Bay, I was hoping to have someone else to meet up with for the trip. Would you be up for meeting on the day:)

Have a look at the 1st post with the each days route on and then say which day and where you will meet us - ideally somewhere really obvious or the hotel we are leaving from if that is possible.

OK, for those not local to that area, can you post up or message Colin the address and postcode or a map link of where those services are please - sounds daft but us 'visitors' could easily get wrong place.

    Hi guys online at last!!!

Yeah we could meet up at Bikers Cove in Queensferry! It's a wee bikers cafe on the sea front, I'm down there most Sunday's! I'll do a detailed map & postcode. I was planning to meet there on the day, I though if you all leave Galashields at 9.30 l figured you would arrive at Queensferry about 10.45-11.00 so i was gonna head down for a coffee about 10.30 :).

Honda1964 I'll pm you my mobile no and we could meet up for a coffee and a chat any Sunday :)

Personally the SOuth Queensferry services will be easier for 20 bikes to park up at - its just off main motorway junction so a doddle - no matter how easy the seafront one is with a big group I'd worry about is getting split.
Also judging by some peoples fuel ranges i think we all top up bike at South Queensferry its then plenty to get to Blairgowrie Tesco for next juice stop - from Galasheils I think some may run risk of running out - will talk to tour leader extraordinare Colin for advice!
