To anybody on here who has the Yoshimura R77 slip on.. Are you running it straight onto a standard system (Just bolted straight on?) I am awaiting delivery for mine.
i dont have 1 but im fairly sure that is the only possible way, it will come with an s-link pipe that fits straight onto the standard header pipes
i have just read your other post asking about a power commander, you will be fine running it without 1, but having 1 with a downloaded map will make it better, and having a custom map will make it better still
That's right I have a carbon slip on just fits on to the end of your standard exhaust once you remove the old stock end.The only difference I have noticed is its a bit lumpy on tick over .Easy to fit and boy does it sound nice also remember to turn back to its original position the thingy( little wheel with wire on it ) for the flapper in the exhaust which is located underneath the rear wheel arch otherwise you will get a light on.It will have this in the dis-tructions. I have just been over to Oulton park for an hour to watch the track day , while I was there I spoke to the blokes that test your exhaust for Noise level, I asked them if I could bring my bike down to test the noise level on it as I am not sure if its ok or not. They said no problems just do it about 10.30am(if any one else wants this doing that's the best time as its after there brew) I asked the question on here but no one replied so I will post the result once I have it done.
Yes I did Fez, £420 with postage which I was very happy with considering I was going to go to dealer who has it for £750.
You will be fine without a pc5 mate, as long as the baffles in… without the baffle, it has no back pressure so messes the fuelling up a bit…. best with a pcv with baffle out mate. It get's rid of the cat by having the r77 too. mine bolts straight on to the system, but the box that comes with the original has the cat in it, by removing the original slip on, you remove the cat. p.s you need some carbon now dude!
Lets us all know the final price paid Shing as you may well be hit with further import Taxes by HMRC as you've bought from the good ole US of A!
Already on my list of mods Si.. I'm thinking carbon infill panels under fuel tank and underneath riders seat maybe.. And perhaps chain guard. I guess we will see. I don't want to go OTT with carbon. Good recommendation for the exhaust.. Any good tips for the carbon? Lol.
Is that a defo Si? If so what does that make the total cost in GBP? ......and what's the best price anyone's found from a UK supplier?
The guy at Bio Hazards has kindly sent it as a gift (of small value), Thus keeping any possible charges to a minimum. Looking for carbon now..
