Well it's a cracking morning here , going to Crossgates for a breakfast and a nice ride out , hope some of you get out today , must be best day of the year so far ....
Have a good one Barney .Going for a walk this morning and if it rises above freezing I may sample a bit myself .Say after me its getting better its getting better .
Off to buy venture shield film for R1 and poss Blade from privacy tiny in Goburn, Warrnington (in the car!) - too cold still and still chucking the salt down each night
Work ? ?.... Supping coffee listening to popular music and yakking all day about beckhams bum is not working dude ! But I take your point about the frost though .
Well just got the bike out , sun is gleaming off it , looks to good to ride but eh oh , Frost on car and van gone , another hour and we will be on are way Catch you later ....
Have a great time barney, I'm hoping to get the bike road ready today. it's not a great day to day here, 3 degrees, overcast but dry
We haven't had the "R" word here for a fortnight so even the waters of lake Exminster have receded. The Tarmac temperature is a bit low so my CorsaIII's will feel like an ironing board for a while but it's got to be done.
i was tempted meself to get the bike out went out to the garage slipped on some ice and thought sod that 3deg with wind chill means no nuts ? but looks areally nice day come on heat up for feck sake
Not sure - need to tax R1 if I can with just 'new keepers supplement' - no doubt if I go there with some cash beer tokens on bike I may just think sod it and get them to do it - its got to got to go over all those stickers etc. Done window frosting at work so its similar process
aylesbury looks like it going to chuck it down any minute, enjoy your ride out those of you that get out
Cracking the flags here so a quick brew and I am out might nip over to the Midway and take it from there.
Well we left home just after 11am and first thing we came across was this , this is the bridge near to our house,
So on we go , down the A483 welshpool, and stop off in newtown for petrol, then on to the crossgates road and make our way to the cafe, A few bikes there and breakfast ordered,
Then we make are way back , nothing really to right home about , Roads wet on our side heading towards cafe but coming back bone dry, Road condition was bad, potholes and deep cracks in the line i needed everytime but it was nice to get out
Did the bike behave (electricity wise) today - it looks mint in those pictures - really think it needs those wheels powdercoated white to finish it off Agree about roads - the ones round here are terrible - worse I've seen them for a long time with huge sections 2 / 3" lower than rest of road.
