Wow! Finally picked up my new Fireblade yesterday and what a bike. I only rode it 32 miles and I felt so at home on it. As it's dry out I'm gonna go put a few more miles on the clock. Textiles today though as I froze my 'nads off in leathers yesterday Anyway, here's a couple of pics..
Excellent Steve. I remember coming back from the test ride on mine and my missus saying to me "you didn't enjoy it did you. I was expecting you to have an ear to ear grin" The truth was, jumping 90 bhp in one hit meant I was still processing all of the extra data input I'd just been battered with. I probably still looked shell shocked as I was signing the paperwork.
Very nice , get them leathers on and a fleece in top !QUOTE=Stevo;150437]Wow! Finally picked up my new Fireblade yesterday and what a bike. I only rode it 32 miles and I felt so at home on it. You won't regret it, it's not cheap but when it's not covered in stone chips in a few thousand miles you'll know you made a good choice.
Very nice matey enjoy Also loving the LC in your garage I've always wanted one my dad being a biker when they first came out when I was 17 wouldn't Sign the paper work because they were fast !!!! so ended up with a 3 1/2 Morini sport Great little bike but I still want a 350 LC in my garage
Go for the venture shield matey, got it on my 5 yr old blade and it still looks new. Worth every penny.
Thanks Clarkey. Yeah, the LC is great fun. I too had always wanted one but they came out just after I'd got a Suzuki GT550. Got lucky with the one I've got a couple of years ago as it had already had quite a bit of work done and the guy needed cash quick. Mind you it still owes me over £3k and I did a lot of work on it. Nice to have in the garage though and for just nipping up the shops and terrorising the local scootisti! You'll have to see it sometime, you're not far from me.
Hey Stevo, Your Respol looks awesome, bet you enjoyed today as the sun was actually out! Not sure if you've noticed but there seems to be few speed camera vans out locally so keep em peeled!
Mint bike - bought a ventura kit today for mine and spent many hours fitting it - but I can say its def going to be worth fitting.
Repsol looks great!! I personally prefer your scheme to the new 2013 colours... Can't go wrong with the venture shield ... I wish I had it....
Very nice. Totally jealous. Have you managed to get a rear seat hump yet. I was told that Honda UK don't have them in stock yet by my local dealer ,
