does anyone else get peed off with ebay sellers that will only post things via the post office or royal mail?
almost everything bigger than a shoebox costs about a tenner to send . yet whenever i sell owt on ebay i can get it picked up from my house and delivered for about £6.00 by using
one of the online postal services .
I once got a bike part from abroad and got charged a customs handling fee of over a tenner on top of the price of the original postage because it had come through a royal mail centre.
when will people wake up and stop using this rip off service?
moan moan moan .. victor meldrew.

Good point. I. Never even thought about using anyone else for postage.
And didn't realise it was that cheap either.

I sent a set of bike wheels inc tyres, discs and sprockets for about £10.50 next day delivery through parcel monkey a few months ago, I send something much smaller and lighter through the post office and cost more! And had cost of travel and parking to consider too

When I sell stuff i'd love to use these cheaper delivery services, but with my job I can never be sure when i'll be home from work.
Plus the misses works too so I get stuck with having to use the post office!

you can also drop off your parcels at certain shops / petrol stations etc if it is hard to say what time you will be around.
i tend to use parcel 2 go as i have sent loads of stuff and never had a problem . i can either leave parcels with a neighbour or drop them off at local fuel station on my way to work.
it also helps that obviously you dont have to pay to park up and walk into a town to drop off parcels .

Yes I do get peed off with eBay sellers who only use the Royal Mail. But for a different reason.

Doing the post run between 16:00 and 16:30 and getting into the queue behind them in the post office clutching a couple of Ikea bags for life filled with, what appear to be, individually wrapped Brussel Sprouts while they hand them over, one by one to be stamped, seemingly explaining the entire life story of the package contents to the geezer behind the glass as they do so.

In Kens world it would be mandatory that you must buy a franking machine before you can open an eBay account.

what I hate is these companies that use the mainland only postage rules,
everywhere else gets charged double.load of bulls*"t coming out with that,
I have posted an audi grill's,corals etc to london next day delivery and it cost me
£12 yet some companies have quoted the same price for sending me something
small like a set of brake lines.....chancers
