Hi al , ever since I've stopped using optimate the bike has started everytime I've tried it (strange I know )
It still feels lazy on the start button , but it starts . Roads are in a poor condition it's going to cost millions
to put them right , but all in all a good day out mate .

Good photos Steve and there seems a general theme coming out about the state of the roads besides breaking up its also farmer Palmer time .

Mine has felt / lazy / slow to start from day 1 - they all do, its a 'characteristic' of the bike - the battery is only 'just' powerfull enough for it.

I've run out of electricity in the Pyrenees after leaving hazard lights on after a lad smashed his bike up, its needed a bump start at the channel tunnel when I left the ignition on for a minute or 2, at my local dealers last time.

Agree with the roads - huge sections of road will need planing and re-laying - not just top dressing.

Can't help but think I'd have throttled up just a tiny bit going under that bridge ringed with four foot long daggers. Psychological or not, I'd have been more comfy that way.

Tough call. I reckon yours still has the edge. It will probably be better built than the Sigma. I've seen them suffer in the hands of professionals being used in earnest day in, day out. But twice the price better? That's an even tougher call.
