Fitted GI Pro gear indicator, and fitted new Motobatt battery. Oops video link not working, will fix and edit soon... Hope this link works!!
Fitted my bags to test ride the fitment ready for the Scotland trip Also, done an oil & filter change. 4 Litres of Power 1 gone in, now I can see a red window
Finally rode the damn thing! At last a chance to test the winter's mods: - Gilles Shift Support - not one single false neutral hit... would normally have hit one or 2 on the journey I did (usually near the end, when I'm tired and getting lazy) so that seems good - HEL brake lines - certainly a more immediate bite (i.e. less lever pull needed) but not much in the way of extra "bite"... might get some fresh pads in All in all, marvelous day, excepting riding like a complete tw@t for the first 20 minutes!
Please tell me your going to put some padding between the tail unit and those bags!!!!............be a shame to wreak the neat paint job for the sake of some duck tape n foam.
Already done :-D Got venture shield along both sides of the tail piece and behind the seat cowl. Im probably also gonna fit the pillion seat and strap my oxford tail pack on too.
It was that thread that reminded me to do the oil service. Turned out mine was on the minimum. Get checking, it's far less hassle!
Just back home before I go away tomorrow driving my bus around europe and popped into showroom to see how my Repsol was coming along. Just waiting for the GB engine covers and r n g bobbins that extend off the back of the swing arm. A few pics posted. Started the girl up in the showroom with the baffle in .oh my god....very nice sound. Pick it up Saturday.
How gutting must it be to have to walk away from it now you've run it. I don't know, or care whether Yoshi exhaust's are the best because when your logo's that cool, who cares...
