I got my knee down once on a RD250 many moons ago during a high speed low side, closely followed by my hip, shoulder, head and foot which put me out of action for weeks. This is getting a bit like the chicken strips who’s got the biggest cock thread. I said it then and I will say it again. Maybe it’s just because I am getting old, but I don’t really care about either. If the situation is right and it happens all well and good other wise who cares, if I was that desperate to scrub my knee sliders for the bragging rights I have a belt sander in the shed and as for size of my cock that’s for Ling, my ex wife, the barmaid at the Halfway House, oh and the girl from New Zealand I meet in Greece and………and......and, forget it, we could be here all evening but you get my point. Stop stressing and just enjoy riding the your bike and if you really need to do it, keep it on the track were it belongs. Just my opinion off course guys. It’s a free world.

Why do you need to get knee down ? It's just for show and bullshit really , Don't make anyone a better rider ? Followed a lad one day doing just this , Looked a right tit on country roads , save it for the track ...... If you can do it .

Ha ha!!! I finally managed to get some tear drop titaniums at the bike show (been after some for ages)... Hard to come by so bought three sets! Lol - cant wait to try them out!
Yeah, titanium knee sliders...mine have sparked like a good un..don't half light the road up. what I do is tie a tow rope round me waist, and tie the other end to the missus' tow hook on the focus. When she isn't looking I kneel down behind the car at night and it looks as though her car is on fire.... but, as far as using them on the blade, I have yet to pop that particular cherry.
I have sparky knee sliders and a warm summers evening whilst the suns gong down and you're with a bunch of mates, it defiantly looks cool as fook.
