Hi all, ive got a new Scotoiler system i bought for my last bike but never fitted. The Scotoiler website suggests fitting the reservoir under the seat, which looks cramped but doable - and lets face it, you cant put anything else under there. But it'd be good to see if any of you lot of already fitted one of these so i can get a handle on where to route the piping and mount the delivery nozzle. Or not use it at all and stop being lazy b'stard
I had one on my RR1 many years ago but took it off, messy things and a x ring chain doesn't need oil it just needs keeping clean.
it was yeah, although i did make heavy weather of it! had to fasion a bracket to attach to rear of paddock stand bobbin in the end. let me know if you struggle and i will post a piccy, someone did it for me and it did help
I'm with you on this Carl, its simply not needed on modern X ring chains, unless you intend to go for a few thousand mile tour
