Hi Alex We couldn’t remember if you wanted the fumé or le naturel ? But don’t worry we are back in France at the end of the month, just let us know what you want and we will pick some up for you:
LoL…..Obviously not that good or I would have remembered which, L said smoked I said plain……Smoked it is then.
'A man can never have enough garlic in his life' as both my grandfathers used to say. That's actually a lie. But it's a good maxim to live by. Sort of.
Not at all. I just find it a bit tedious that in order to 'add' flavour to a meal a seemingly massive amount of chefs decide to choose a single additive which just happens to have such an over riding taste of its own that you can even smell it in your sweat after you've eaten it.
I don't think you would appreciate L's garlic duck then. Whole duck boiled for hours on end with garlic, five spice and other potions till the meat is mega tender and falling off the bone. Then eaten with roughly chopped raw garlic that has been soaked in vinegar. Its actually nicer than it sounds but you taste it for days afterwards and so does anyone else that you go with 50 feet off. We had it on a Sunday once and during a meeting on the following wednesday I was asked ' jesus David, did you eat garlic last night'....That's hard core man, hard core. Sent from Freedom's Hellberry
That's a meal! Slavering like a dog thinking about it! I eat the stuff raw and salivate as I slice it. Thankfully I am essentially antisocial. Garlic is amazing. Massive fan. Garlic sweats, Ken? Hell yeah!
