    Some sleet forcast for us tonight but I still taxed the bike today,
    As long as there is no ice/grit I'll will be out playing

    Fitted the new battery all excited to take my sweetheart out for a sneaky ride tomorrow for valentines as due to warm up, turn round and fecking snowing!!!
    Looks like i will be taking the mrs out instead :(

    It certainly snowed last night - and the result today at Saddleworth just off M62 heading to Oldham

    That just looks plain sore ;)

    I'd be prancing around looking for the nearest fireplace to toast the hands on. Heated grips are life savers in days like those.

    It was baltic up there - literally 1 minute without gloves and my fingers were going numb taking a couple of pics - thought bike was going to get blown over at one point

    The old oracle was correct in his forecast (cheers Giv') and a sprinkling it was this morning, literally. It looked like a particularly lumpy frost. Meanwhile, a mere 8 miles down the road they got twatted by it again, go figure.

    Mind you, I stepped out of the kitchen door this morning in my brand new, £200 "If Captain Scott had one of these, he'd still be doing Hello spreads today" adventure coat, and the north wind went through it like a plasma torch.
