I havent got the lid here but I will get a pic for you. a 900mb card lasts about 8 minutes in 30fps 1080 so a 32gb card will be more than enough.
not very long, had stopped to check to see if the horizon was ok on the footage then caught on it had stopped. had only talked for a few minutes then went on a a faster run to check wind nosie...this bit was missing
the Drift cam looks really poor quality in that test which is surprising as I find the quality bang on.all of the baron's older vids were done with a Drift hd. the reason they sound bad martin is they are using the internal mic's which are rubbish for bikes, external mic is a must.
Not sure about other cams but the drift Comes with a curved mount, flat mount And a mount for goggle straps.my mind Was made up with the drift when I heard It also came with a wifi controller. If I had A better budget I would have got the Ghost version.
Mrs brought me this GoPro 3 today after me pestering.. Lol. Can't wait to get some footage with it. First impression was surprise at how small it was. Think it looks great!
I have a Drift HD tried it on my tank with the sucker mount but found the footage way too shakey, more of a statement of the local tarmac combined with the plastic tank cover than of the drift. Using on the helmet seems to smooth out the bumps a bit. My best footage so far was taken during a driving day at brands in a single seater really great footage but forgot to clear the card before going and ran out of storage ..... I still don't trust the remote and keep asking mates to check the light is on, I suppose I'll get more comefortable with practice. I found the light / dark adjustments could be smoother and audio quality suffers at speed due to wind noise. Looking forward to getting to know it better and to try my hand at some editing.
There was a firmware update to help with The exposure shifts and as said setting the Audio at one sorts out a lot the wind noise.
Are you hoping for more exposure or a reduction in wind noise?? Thanks for the advice guys you've saved me a few hours of mucking about!
