Faith Tony as defined from Wikipedia (OK not always good) Faith is confidence or trust in a person or thing, or a deity or in the doctrines or teachings of a religion. It may also be belief that is not based on proof. I have faith in some people, trust, But I can't have that faith in a person that I have no proof with be trustful. I'll say I'm on the fence with religion. I'm more of a Darwin man myself. But happy for others to do as they please and have faith in whoever they want. AS long as it does not include Foozball
Religion has been the cause or heavily contributed towards almost every war there has ever been! For this reason, I'm out! Although I do have faith in other things!
I have to give a big vote of thanks to the Catholic Church. My introduction to it at an early age almost instantly converted me to atheism. For which I will be....well not eternally grateful 'cos that would be a self defeating statement, but grateful for a bloody long time.
When its all weighed in the balance (the Old Testament is still a good source of quotations and allegory), I don't really have a problem with anybody's faith. I just really dislike religion.
