How can anyone do anything but love the blade!!!?

I've got a HRC 11 too and love it to bits! I have some of the extras you have like the screen, rear seat cowl & R&G tail tidy. I also have the R&G paddock stand bobbins in white (nice!), HRC carbon tank & filler pad and highly recomended (by me!) stomp grips. Mine is the C-ABS version so cant get the nice hugger you have!

My next purchase will be the ASV levers.

The rearsets look awesome... which ones are they? (pardon my thick!)

I'm a really big fan of Akrapovic! Is this just an end can, end can with de-cat or full system!? Also did you fit a Power Commander?

BEWARE... more questions to follow!!! LOL

Also quite interested to know exactly which chain and sprockets you went with!? And are you going to use the OEM rubber or bin it for something else!? I have stuck with the Bridgestones so far as I cant bare to see anything go to waste and not unimpressed so far!!

    Hey mate.

Chain is a Tsubaki and sprockets are Renthals. End can is the Akrapovic Race can so a de cat version. No power commander as it run sweet without. Rearsets are Gilles VCR.

As for the tyres the OEM rubber I find OK - did a track day on it and they were not too bad. Would go for the Dunlop SportSmart or the Supercorsa BSB when I change.

Wow... I'm surprised she runs totally ok afer removing the cat and putting a different can on! I'm sure you would probably benefit from a PC and maybe even a dyno session. Does the Akra have a slot for the Oxy sensor or is this left out? Also, is this road legal and do you have to inform the insurance??

The rearsets look ace... just seen that R&G do some too...

Do yours use the original gear lever and rod or are there new ones in the kit?

The Akra does have the O2 sensor so it does help smooth things. General consensus seems that the 08 onward Blade fuelling is absolutely fine with a slip on. A PC would improve it but it is not worth it for very minimal gains.

The rearsets do indeed use a new shift rod & gear lever.

Just looked at the R&G ones. Not sure I would trust them as much as a reputable rearset producer.... They are very expensive too - £291 + VAT!!

    Bike looks lovely!

When you look at the "s" bend in the exhaust pipe I've seen a cover on the Yoshi slip on iirc, can you use that with the Aka slip on?

Have an Arrow slip on with the cat removed on my 08 and I agree the fuelling is fine as is.

How much clearance is there between the swingarm and the exhaust mounting bracket with the gilles rearsets and do they flex abit as people suggest ?

Oh yeah and great looking bike :clap2:

All gilles flex takes a bit of getting used to easy to miss gears at first but i for one will be getting a set for my new blade as the riding position is miles better ;)

Which direction do the Gilles rearsets move the pegs? e.g. up, down, forward, back and by how much roughly? Is the position of the pegs fixed or can you adjust the position? Thx! :)

I told my insurance company about the Akrapovic and PCV and they just made a note of it being fitted no extra charge :) (I am with MCE insurance)
