Yeh i have the correct loom, that was the only part that that i think could possibly have gone wrong as i couldnt get any to click on. maybe i have only got 2 on properly so that could be the problem and obviously would cause it to run on 2 cylinders.

Fitted one of these to the seat cowl.

Fitted my kriega straps in anticipation of using her to commute to work regularly.

And looked at the bike a lot.

Have the bulbs got silver strips on the outside?

If not then they're not designed for reflector type lights (did way too much research for mine)

Do look seriously cool though, got very jealous!!!

Yesterday - collected tank cover bolts from Mark aka 'YorkshireGooner' from here to finish bike off

Today collected a 'new to me' box of electricity from YorkshireGooner as I've got fed up with running out of electricity and needing push starts!

Ouch. Fingers crossed its a quick (cheap) fix!

Fitted stomp grips and tank protector and gave her a good buffing. Will need to get some more pics (promise) but at the moment you'd all just complain about the state of my garage.. :D

Makes sense, guy I used to work with didn't believe me and was a bit reluctant to explain why he was at the side of the road talking to a angry looking police person when I rode past :)

One of those perfect told ya so moments :D

It will certainly fail an mot if the tester is doing it correctly, hids shouldn't be fitted into reflector lights. I have projector lights on my car and they normally pass an mot with hids fitted as the beam of light is more focused rather than being spread as a reflector lens will do.

You can get HID bulbs designed for reflector lights, they have patches on the bulb which direct the light in the correct way. Mines been through at least 1 mot. Will try take a picture of the light spread. It's pretty much the same just much brighter :)

If the H7R cell is used no reason why it won't pass, as for car conversions they need to be self levelling with washers and wipers. The law changed for cars a little while back. :)

Fitted a roadlok to it. Pushed it out and back into the garage. Did change the fork springs and oil on another bike I'm putting back together and discovered that the left handlebar is warped. *sigh* 1 step forward and 2 steps back.
