Heat protection!

    Hi guys

    Im needing some advice, i brought my blade last year and it had heat damage to the belly pans, ive managed to get myself some new fairing but need too know what too use to help prevent this from happening again.
    Here's a pic of the belly pan as it is

    Could be that the previous owner left his bike ticking over stationary for a prolonged period of time.

    This leads the exhaust to go Cherry Red with heat as even with the Rad fan going it aint enough to cool the Zorst as well.

    This will have melted the lower fairing for sure.

    Don't let your bike tick over for long periods stationary and all will be well! :cool:

    The inside of mine around that area has a metal plaque type thing stuck there, maybe that's missing?

    Get yourself some heat shield type stick on pads. I used some on the inside panels of the Blackbird and SP1.

    I'll see if I can find it on the evil bay for you.

    I got some of that heat shield from demon tweaks, use the contact on here Andy. I was about £14 including postage. Cheaper than ebay..
