MOT says it should be at the rear of the bike, and as vertical as reasonably possible, no MOT fail for no light on the plate but should have a reflector, needs to be standard plate to pass and able to read from certain distance but plate law is another matter, Phil if you want just the template, no prob. If that's ok with Martin that is... I've got him by the balls as I have his bike in....lol

I say it time and time again, but just coz it passes an MOT does not mean its legal for use on the road! strange but true! Any mods are technically illegal, pipes, plates, indicators the lot, any changes from what was sold when new can be picked up on by unhappy plod... I just try not to piss them off.

I have no problem with Arthur, I would say if you use you bike to commute then don't do it, I use my bike in the sun only to ride to a meet or a ride round with a few mates so rarely bump into the old bill and when I do it's normally facing the front of the bike with a camera.
I'm bound to get caught one day I will just act dumb (yes act! Before anyone says it) and hope the fines not too big :D

I got pulled up in a car park, (plod walked over) for mine on my Z1000 was the same place etc, I chose to removed it as used it all the time, my supermoto is the same place but has no mirrors so no problem ;) if you get my drift!

Ah right, will use mine to blast into work when I'm late so by the sounds of it best to find standard tidy :(

The template could be cool to play with if you could scan it and email it over?

    Any suggestions?

As that's the case, if you ever feel the need to remove the nice jardine can and link pipe and it falls into a box with my address on it, I'd be very grateful :D

Haha, usually I'd agree but there are too many police round my way and have to ride past the local station
