I know we may have touched upon this subject before but at the risk of milking it i would like to throw some more massive respect to all the riders for the showdown at Silverstone on Sunday .After watching the do or die antics at Donnington i believe that these guys do put there life on the line (in the name of racing ) for us and tomorrow will be one of the best races of recent years .I am getting quite bored of the Moto Gp for obvious reasons to the point of not caring if i miss a race.So a big up for all inc the top runners Shaky/laverty/hopkins /hill /Brooks .Can't wait.

I really enjoy watching BSB aswell, like you say Moto gp has lot some of it's appeal for me too I think being a Rossi fan and having on love for Stoner or Lorrenzo doesn't help matters!
I'm glad you started this thread because i'd forgotten it was on this weekend.
I quite fancy attending the final round at Brands.

I'll be cheering for Hopkins aswell, but really i'd have liked Rutter to have been in the mix.
I think he would have made the top 6 if it wasn't for that twat Josh Brookes taking him out!

I've just check the date for the final rounds at Brands and i'm due to go away on a course for work first thing on the following Monday, so it looks like i'll have to settle for watching it on the box.

Couldn't agree more especially with the Honda's coming from further back, there's going to be some hard moves pulled.

Is anybody rooting for Shakey ? Im 90% sure it will come down to Hill and Hopper but i would like to see shane win also. The point scoring system done him over a bit but he has rode consistent all season and i think deserves a good finishing position

yes tell me about it i nearly punched the tv when brookes took him out, he,s dangerous and no thought for other riders. always liked rutter he try,s so hard and just a decent nice guy. big fan of shakey too but he,s had 2 titles so be nice for a change. (whats got in to kiyonari these days he,s way off hs best from few years back)

I reckon Hopper will pull it off, with Hill coming a close 2nd. Would be nice to see Hill win it though.

I quite like Shakey, but he's not done himself any favours qualifying so far down the field.
Out of the 6 in the shoot out the only 2 that I wouldn't really want to see win it this year are Josh brookes and Kiyonari.
Brookes because he took out Rutter and Kiyonari I don't think has been good enough to deserve it.

I like Tommy Hill and have been lucky enough to meet him, top bloke, so I am a bit conflicted because I really rate Hopper and Byrne too.

Brookes.....He always reminds me of that irritating little kid that hurls abuse at you just out of reach, then, when you move towards him, retreats the same amount of steps then starts again.

I'd never wish ill to another rider so I'd like to see his snotty little face standing in 4th place for the rest of the year. Not last place. I want him to just miss out and still be able to see the winners.

BSB is by far the best two wheel racing on tv and anywhere for that matter, the bikes their on are very similar to our own especially the Evo class so it makes it that bit more accessible to the masses!!!

I couldn't agree more and if your whole family are interested it's actually a cheapish weekend to go and watch.
It's a bit more expensive for me living where I do, but a few years ago I went to a round with the misses and the 3 children for the weekend i'm sure then it cost me £50 for the 5 of us to get in for the weekend. £25 each adult and the little devils were free!
Good family entertainment that is still at realistic prices.
