    not the easiest thing to do...you have to split rear frame, take rear fairing off, undertail off....almost everything to get to these two bolts...

    As above, certainly not a 2 minute job. Bats did mine, and the tail tidy, even a guy who knows his way around a socket set took over 5 hours to complete, mind he did have me as a distraction ;)

    It's not hard to do. Took me about hour and half.
    You can then put on sato street hooks or rexpeed do some nice tidy ones at a lower price.
    These are the rexpeed ones on my old 10 plate.

    I was looking at a couple of threads where people have done this but I can't see where it says which blade they've got, is it just as bloody awkward on all of them? I want them gone off my 06 but don't fancy two hours in a freezing garage.

    Cheers Dave, I thought it looked reasonably straight forward but didn't want to start taking things apart until I'd checked.

    Dunno what the picture is you're trying to link to but it links to this;
    image.jpg

    Which looks like Cheryl cole on the bog after a heavy night out assaulting nightclub staff :)

    No rush, I'm happy watching Cheryl on the loo.

    On my to do list for this week until the snow goes now - I see the guy selling the hanger now does a complete back end tidying kit with a replacement reservoir etc.

    Ta.

    Hi, I think this link will take you to the page that I posted regarding taking the rear pegs off of my 2013 blade. The photos in my album don't run in order, but this post does. If the link does not work just search under rear peg removal non abs.

    Cup of tea, a few biscuits and soft music playing in the background Is all you need , oh and about 2 hours:D

    I read somewhere that it had been made a crap load easier on the 2012 - 2013 to replace the tailtidy and rear pegs... is this not the case? :(

    I made a batch of 10 adapter plates for rear pegs for non-ABS 2008 - 2013 Blade, put one set on my bike and the rest is advertised on my web site if anyone's interested: dogsbollocks designs, Sheffield.

    Ooh I got all excited there with the thought of buying those only to find they're not listed anymore. Shall go and console myself with a beer during this cr*p weather :(
