Wow!! Now that is worth £40k IMO.

Even if you was loaded to own it and ride it, or store it as investment you can't go wrong....

About 20k mate (or was that the nsr) so not the best return, but I reckon you'd get another 5k in 5 years?

Not that if I had the cash I'd EVER sell it...

Wow, that is a lot...... Not such a good investment then, still, hell of an iconic machine...

Don't be daft, the nc30 was nearly 6 grand new then, the 92 blade was 8 I think... And I'm sure the nr was 30?

I might be wrong though - was only 11 at the time ;)

.....................and you'd probably halve it's value by doing so!

That's the trouble with doing this, the Bike ends up like a Painting.

I had a ZXR750 H2 back then and the RC30 was launched at about the same time, as preformance bikes etc were featuring and comparing them at the time.
I'm sure the ZXR was around £5600ish and the RC30 was more in the £12K region

Yeah I'd love that but as said its a waist of money if you don't ride it, bit like a fine wine that never gets drunk! If you rode it you'd Prob never pay the money BUT you can't ride a classic bike and expect modern performance and razor feel or in my experience it can shatter your childhood dreams, I.e. never meet your hero's! But nine the less I real NICE bike...

As said a beautiful piece of kit and history but a waste. Either run it in and ride it to the stops or put it in a museum. Enjoyed the video in the link too, very emotional. By the way my Blade in '92 was £7250 new

Also it could be priced at 50k but unless someone puts the money on the table it's not worth the asking price? Lots of NR's sit with large price tags but I've yet to see any sell... loads of d16s for sale too make you wonder if people are getting ready for the new RCV?
