Just querying wether the exhaust slip ons from 2008-2011 fireblades fit the new shape 2012 & 2013 models?
I ask as im looking to purchase a new 2013 fireblade. I currently have a 2010 with a yoshimura r77 exhaust slip on and i cant find any solid information on it. Plus id rather keep my exhaust and fit it to the new bike. Any help ? Thanks

    Andy

The exhaust will fit straight on perfectly but its the infill pannel that wont as the lower bodywork is not the same

Thanks i have just seen this response. I may be looking at a 2013 Fireblade tomorrow. Has anyone on here know if its possible to fit the infill panel from the r77 2010 to a 2013 bike? I don't mind modding it a bit if i have to such as cutting it etc as long as it still looks the part. Just wondered if anyone has done it?

Be a real pain to sell the exhaust just to buy another just because of a simple in fill panel.

Buy a new 2012 model Andy it's far cheaper!

The 2013 is the same as the 2012 bar a new paint job

I paid £10,550 for my 2012 ABS which is on a 13 Plate.

There's still plenty about at Dealers both ABS and Non-ABS

    Just noticed you're in Leeds!

Got mine from Castle Motorcycles which is just up the road from you, here ya go!

Used Honda CBR cbr1000RR For Sale in Castleford, West Yorkshire

Thank you. Castle honda is a 10 mins drive away from me haha. I didnt get round to going down though.

I fancy the repsol one but paying 2000 extra over a 2012 just for a paint scheme does seem steap. Plus that blade in you link does look fairly tasty.

Can you not just buy the infill pannel on its own and then sell the current 1 to get some money back

That's the one I bought Andy although it's had a few mods in the 30 days since it was delivered!

As far as your exhaust is concerned the easiest thing to do is ring a Yoshi supplier and ask if the part numbers for a 2010 match a 2012/13 bike, if yes then away ya go!

Hi Andy, I did exactly what you want to do, I had a Yoshi r77 on my 2010 Blade and then got a 2012 HRC, all I did was email JHS racing : [email protected] with the infill part number (plus bracket set) and they ordered it but I think they now keep the bits in stock?
The parts numbers are: Yoshimura heatshield 12200-HSBRKT3 & Yoshimura bracket kit 11-12200HS-00 total price was £101 including vat and carriage. Hope this helps.

Thank you all. Some tasty looking bikes there. Im test riding a 2012 model today. Very Excited !

I was concerned as i couldnt find a replacement infill panel sold seperatly from an exhaust. I guess the next thing to do now is buy a bike and then i shall email jhsracing.

    Thank you for your responses.

Haha. I did really enjoy it. The bike felt much more planted. Loved the dash too. I put the thing through its paces lol.

Im opting for a 2013 but cant decide between which colours. Love both repsol and Hrc. Id like repsol for a change over my 2010 Hrc. But then ive got blue leathers helmet etc which mite look abit.... shit next to the bright orange repsol lol undecided.......?
