While at my mates house today we found this on the floor in the garage, went to pick it up and it nearly had me , a few phone calls later and a lady came to pick it up , quick check over and all is good .

Thought you said your a country boy ? How can you hate spiders then Just watch out for the little ones in the log shed , they give a nasty bite , But there more likely to bite you when your asleep , ( tonight ) lol .

I've heard a blade is a bird magnet but not the wrong kind.Glad it was ok, lovely creatures who keep them pesky rats and mickeys in check.Spiders I deal with, a bit of card and a clear plastic cup.Some of em were bigger than the cup rim. Made me shiver feeling them move around on the card.
You know what.. i can handle arachnids of any denomination, snakes, scorpions, any kind of carrion bird, beetles and moths, but if i found this in my garage, i would soil me panties….. A welshman.
in stables where my daughters horse lives , i am suprised there is enough room for the horse to get in and no we dont live in south africa .
Used to own a Tawny owl like that one. Didn't like being hungry (so it could fly to my hand). Went for the father in law once, they usually go for the eyes!!! Stopped flying him after that. He just sat all day on a pitch fork handle watching the world go by. Caused a few accidents though!
