    1. It's just as bloody cold in Lancashire as it is in Yorkshire
    2. Get some heated grips fitted to the bike
    3. Don't leave both your pairs of winter gloves in the locker at work
    4. Don't ride over the top of the M62 at 9am in -2* in summer gloves
    5. Check my tyre pressures at home rather than having to pay £1 to the robbing Moto Services bar stewards at Birch when I think it feels a bit soft
    6. Rivington Barn do a nice brew
    7. Remember to put clocks forward so you don't have to ride like a twat to meet your mates.
    8. When your fingers are frozen get someone else to light your fag so you don't hold a lit match too long and burn your finger without realising it until its too late.
    9. Unlike many of my previous bikes, the mirrors are actually useful on this one.
    10. I love my blade.:D

    Couldn't we all mate!

On the mirrors though, ever ridden a Ducati 999? You end up looking like you're doing a "feel like chicken tonight" dance every time you wanna see behind you.

Ah...sorry read '9' and another inch or so and got the wrong end of the thread! hehe! :D Mirrors are my only issue as well... maybe my gorilla arms don't suit the Blade

I agree the Mirrors give a good stable non-blurred image even at a Ton plus, trouble is it's of my Arms.

Don't know why but the RHS seems worse than the left?

They just need to stick out another inch or so and they'd then become the Life Savers they should be!
Someone could do with making some spacers to fit between the stem base and the fairing, there is enough slack in the cables I reckon.

If you search ebay for cbr mirror extenders they are available but look like you'd have to drill an extra hole for the cable as even the ones that say 2003-2013 blades don't seem to cater for the wiring £30 for them or nearly £60 for SW Motech ones which do allow for the cable, Part Number:- SVL.01.501.106, on Motohaus website.

Have you tried any of them Pete?

Don't want to spend £60 to find they are no good!

A-Ha! I assume these are the same as the one's you mentioned Pete, except this website actually has a picture, unlike the manufacturer!

Just seen they are diff part numbers.

Mirror Extensions - SW Motech - Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade 2012

Bit steep, but if they work and save an accident etc then whats not to like?

Nowt do with ya arms, tiz how wide ya shoulders are and hence where your arms drop down from.

If ya built like the guy off the Mr Muscle adverts then the standard Blade mirrors will be fine! :p
