So, everyone is on holiday...

    I've turned up for work today and I'm completely alone in the office. Everyone else is off on holiday or offsite. I've got no work on either (I finished a project last week and haven't been given anything else to do yet). I didn't know I was going to be alone.

    So, I've so far I've:

    1) Cancelled car insurance (rip off renewal came through at the weekend - Admiral)
    2) Sorted out new car insurance (AA - £90 cheaper)
    3) Arranged 2 car test drives (Peugeot 508 and Alfa Giulietta) for later today (I currently drive a 407 and it needs to be retired after 5 years and 96k miles of driving).
    4) Started to sort out the 500 e-mails in my inbox.
    5) Stopped sorting out my inbox after deleting 5 mails as I got bored.
    6) Added a new photograph to my website ( I really need to start work on that proper)
    7) Thought about what I need to buy for my lunch.
    8) Decided to see what my chums are up to on the forum as I've not checked it out for a few days.

    Stuff still on the agenda:

    1) Caffeine
    2) Youtube (probably) watching people hurt themselves in more and more enthusiastic and imaginative ways.
    3) E-mails........ boooooo
    4) Lunch
    5) Do a mandatory online 'Ethics' training course - booo
    6) Look for new job (anyone need an SC cleared IT bod in the midlands? ;))
    7) Test drives - Yeah !!
    8) Home time (possibly winding down a 'hectic and stressful' day with some Back Ops 2 (which in my opinion isn't as good as Battlefield but I'm a bit addicted anyway)) until Mrs Stu comes home.

    I know that none of this is even vaguely interesting to any of you but I need to fill the rest of my day doing something :) - can you tell I'm a bit bored?

    You sound like you are very bored. Also working today (and part of yesterday). Thats the issue when its your own company. Still, keeps me from being bored. Kinda. My bike is sat outside enjoying the sunshine and its calling me....

    I'm on holiday sun is shining , wife is working and I'm babysitting our 9 yr old watching high school musical
    Gutted .........been home 5 days and havn't touched the bike family things

    Worked from tues last week all over Easter weekend got today off then back in till sunday again! God don't I love my job :rolleyes:

    Im on hols but back tomorrow. Trying to decide if I freeze myself for the sake of a quick bike ride.
