How to stop fading on Alcantara??

    Had my spare seat recovered last year, in Alcantara and carbon leather. However, the alcantara has faded to a greenish colour?? I'm not sure if i like it, so i need to get it recovered. Is there any way i can stop it from fading in the sun???

    yes remove it and place in a dark cupboard........ remember never to place it back on bike though.......;)

    im not trying to wind you up Si as i ve always liked it.......often wondered if it would fade though.........surely not i thought especially with our fuck dam awful shite weather ! :D

    Anyhow Si if you remove it you ll have to hand back "Bike of the year" award.........it was that bloody seat that got my vote ! ;)

    Fek it off Si and get some grippy covering like this replacement for mine on the right and maybe some comfort foam as well!
    £45 plus postage.
    My Ass never felt so good on a Bike! :D

    Ah, but!

    That's 4 x the price and at the end of the day no one can see what ya sat on anyway when your on the bike.

    (Bet mines comfier, and that was my personal criterior but may be not others)

    Like that , where about ? Would fancy that at that price , I take it you send them your seat and it comes back like that ?
