Nicely spotted Colin and you are nearly right .Its one of them thin surgical type gloves and it fits er like a glove and of course I can hose that sucker down and no water gets into the exhaust I also have some thin plastic sheet which I fold up a stuff into the dashboard and over each bar end this also keeps and water away from the clocks and around the light switches and the red stop button .

 

I only hose off the wheel areas and where road shyte and salt can get sprayed.
